چکیده
Abstract Introduction Classical characteristics of osteoarthrosis are reduction or loss articular cartilage, new bone formation, accompanied by synovial proliferation resulting in pain, joint function, and disability. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) has been used to provide stimulus for local regeneration healing. The present study was conducted with the aim evaluating clinical outcome efficacy injecting PRP intra-articularly early primary osterarthrosis knee. Objective Prospective injection knee respect stiffness, function quality life, short-term follow-up. Attempt made standardize protocol formulate PRP. Materials Methods Patients were divided into two groups: one treated autologous injections at 2 weeks interval second received symptomatic treatment physiotherapy. prospectively evaluated baseline then 1 month, 3 months, 6 months follow-up using visual analog scale (VAS) score, Western Ontario McMaster Universities osteoarthritis index (WOMAC) range movements. Results There VAS score group patients compared p-value <0.0001 which highly significant. a significant improvement WOMAC patients. Conclusion Autologous emerged as simple technique, sensitive procedure, cost-effective option. Administration intra-articular reduced significantly also observed who injection. doses found give adequate relief short term further long-term studies required.

Introduction: Vesicovaginal fistula remains a challenge in surgical therapy. In this study autologous platelet rich plasma and platelet rich fibrin glue were used as a minimally invasive approach for vesicovaginal fistula closure. Materials and Methods: Data including age, parity, ICIQ-UI (International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-urinary incontinence), ICIQ-QOL (Internation...
متن کاملA New Technique for the Treatment of Lumbar Facet Joint Syndrome Using Intra-articular Injection with Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma.
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Lumbar facet joint syndrome is currently suggested to be a main source of axial low back pain, and a large portion of axial low back pain is caused by disorders in lumbar facet joints. Intra-articular injection is one of the most common treatment methods in the early clinical application. Therefore, we attempt to seek a new injectable material, autologous platelet rich...

متن کاملA comparative clinical study of intra articular injection of steroid, sodium hyaluronate and platelet rich plasma in osteoarthritis of knee
Background: In the treatment of moderate osteoarthritis with intraarticular injection there are many available options as steroid, hyaluronic acid and platelet rich plasma. But there are lack specific clear-cut indications. Our study is intended to compare result of different injections and correlate it to find some specific indication Method: Total 209 knees of 124 patients studied in three gr...
